Zhang Xinzhu Led a Team to Visit Shanghai

From November 5 to 8, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA, led a team to visit Shanghai.

On November 5, Zhang Xinzhu and the delegation visited Shanghai East Hospital (Shanghai East Hospital Affiliated with Tongji University), accompanied by President Liu Zhongmin, to learn more about the hospital's work in international rescue, disaster relief, stem cell research, and other aspects. Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that based on the existing cooperation, SCODA would like to enhance the cooperation with Shanghai East Hospital, jointly explore the building of the SCO medical community and leading SCO standards, build Jiaozhou East Hospital into a demonstration platform, and deepen exchanges and cooperation with SCO countries in related fields.

Liu Zhongmin said that the hospital would actively engage in the key national task, take the initiative to implement the national strategy, and fully serve the development of SCODA.

On November 6, Zhang Xinzhu and the delegation visited the Shanghai Liaison Center of SCODA and held a symposium. Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that the Shanghai Liaison Center should find its positioning, clarify the organizational structure, focus on key work, make efforts around the platform, function, system, process, etc., match the overall development of SCODA, and contribute to the connectivity of SCODA with partners. The center should adhere to the guidance of party building, improve political stance, leverage the platform well, promote comprehensive digitization and data application, and give full play to its role as a pioneer.

After the meeting, Zhang Xinzhu and the delegation visited Luye Life Sciences Group and met with Liu Dianbo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group. Zhang Xinzhu hoped that Luye Life Sciences Group would seek a strategic layout in SCODA, provide overall solutions in relevant fields for SCO countries, and grow and prosper while implementing the national strategy.

Liu Dianbo said that the group would like to join hands with SCODA for common development.

On the same day, Zhang Xinzhu and the delegation also visited the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics and met with Guan Weiyong, Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the federation. Zhang Xinzhu introduced the development of SCODA, hoping to work with the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics to jointly build a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation. He said that SCODA would establish and improve a regular cooperation mechanism, strengthen communication and enhance cooperation with the federation, jointly maintain the stability of the industrial and supply chains, and facilitate the high-quality development of the real economy.

Guan Weiyong said that the federation would give full play to its advantages and deepen cooperation with SCODA in industry, finance, and policies to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results in multiple fields.

On November 7, Zhang Xinzhu and the delegation visited Haitong Leading Capital Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co., Ltd., and met with Hu Shuguang, Chairman of Haitong Leading Capital Management Co., Ltd., and Zhong Weilin, President of Shanghai Pudong Modern Logistics Industry Association. Zhang Xinzhu said that SCODA would like to work with major enterprises and associations to find the basis for cooperation, join hands and form synergy to help domestic enterprises go global and bring in foreign enterprises, and strive to build a pattern of opening up through links running eastward and westward, across land and over sea, thus contributing to the smooth domestic and international dual circulation.

Hu Shuguang said that the group would cooperate with SCODA to further explore the markets of SCO countries.

Zhong Weilin said that the association would do its best to provide support and services for the development of SCODA.
