Seminar on the Economic and Trade Cooperation between China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and Yangtze River Delta Held

On November 28, the "Connect with Yangtze River Delta to Sing the Chorus of a New Future" Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar of China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area Exploring the Yangtze River Delta was held in Shanghai, marking the launching of "1+N" Series Activities of SCODA Exploring the Yangtze River Delta.

Zhang Yiying, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director General of the Shanghai Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government; Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA; and Liu Fusheng, Director of the Office of the Team for Promoting the Construction and Director of the Office of the Joint Conference of the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of the Yangtze River Delta, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Songjiang District Committee, and Vice District Mayor of Songjiang District, Shanghai, attended and addressed the event.

Zhang Yiying said in his speech that he expected the participants to take this event as a medium to discuss development strategies and seek cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. The Shanghai Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government will give full play to its role as a bridge, strive to provide services and support for economic and trade cooperation, push the exchanges and cooperation between Shandong and Shanghai to a new level, and usher in a new chapter.

Zhang Xinzhu said in his speech that he hopes everyone can jointly build, govern, and share, so as to make full use of SCODA as an international public good, facilitate the high-quality development of the region and enterprises, and better serve China's international cooperation. SCODA will provide the highest efficiency, the best service, and the most practical measures to create a pro-business environment with first-class policies and the rule of law so that everyone can live and work comfortably at SCODA for common development.

Liu Fusheng suggested that the two sides form the greatest synergy to build SCODA and the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of the Yangtze River Delta into major platforms for serving the new development dynamic at a high level, and promote the strategic platform of the two sides to become an important support for promoting the high-quality economic development of the two places with high-level and precise services, opening a new chapter of win-win cooperation.
