Seminar Between Enterprises from Jizzakh Province of Uzbekistan and Qingdao Held at SCODA

    On January 19, the Seminar Between Enterprises from Jizzakh Province of Uzbekistan and Qingdao was held at the SCO Service Center. Elkash Saliev, Governor of Jizzakh Province, Uzbekistan, and Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, attended the event.

    Zhang Xinzhu said in his speech that he hopes to take this seminar as an opportunity to establish more stable cooperative relations between SCODA and Uzbekistan's Jizzakh Province, lay a solid foundation for communication and exchanges between enterprises of the two sides, and promote more fruitful local economic and trade cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.

    Elkash Saliev said that Jizzakh Province will fully support SCODA's endeavors, and create favorable conditions for more Chinese enterprises to invest in the province.

    Attending enterprises actively engaged in communication on logistics, trade, agriculture, chemical engineering, and new energy vehicle among other sectors. Qingdao Luhai Grain & Oil Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation on jointly establishing a factory with the Jizzakh special economic zone of Uzbekistan.
