Zhang Xinzhu Visited China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area

    On January 10, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, led a team of heads of institutions to inspect China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area. Gao Shanwu, Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee of Qingdao West Coast New Area and Director of the Administrative Committee of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, accompanied.

During the meeting held by the Administrative Committee of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, SCODA and the Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area introduced their situation respectively.

    Zhang Xinzhu hoped both sides could identify their positioning, leverage advantages, interact and collaborate to realize complementary development, and create new competitiveness for opening-up, thus making greater contribution for writing a new Qingdao chapter of the Chinese modernization.

    Gao Shanwu said that the Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area will take a higher stance and broader perspective, shoulder more responsibilities and take more practical measures to actively interact and collaborate with SCODA, in a bid to leverage the advantages of the both functional areas to create a new platform for Qingdao's opening up and jointly serve the national strategies.
