SCODA Talked with Siberia Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences via Video Link

On March 30, the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA) and the Siberia Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences had a dialogue meeting via video link. Meng Qingsheng, Deputy Director of the SCODA Administrative Committee, talked online with Mikhail, Vice Chairman of the Siberia Branch and Academician, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Meng Qingsheng hoped that both sides could give full play to their respective strengths to promote technological and industrial cooperation between China and Russia, to accelerate transformation for results of scientific research in Russia, and to facilitate friendly cooperation between Novosibirsk and Qingdao and between scientific research institutions and technology transfer organizations, exploring new ways of cooperation between the new science city of New Siberia and the SCODA.

Mikhail briefed on situations of the Siberia Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. As he mentioned, the SCODA is a new platform of international cooperation under "The Belt and Road Initiative" with broad prospects. Hopefully, both sides could maintain a smooth channel of communication and fully tap the potentials of Sino-Russian cooperation, thereby advancing pragmatic cooperation between the two parties.
