Administrative Committee of SCODA Signed Cooperation Framework Agreement with Weifang Municipal Government

    On August 2, the signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement between the Administrative Committee of SCODA and Weifang Municipal Government was held at Fuhua International Conference Center in Weifang. Liu Jianjun, Vice Secretary of the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee and Mayor of Weifang, and Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, attended the event and delivered speeches. Di Bo, Vice Mayor of Weifang, and Yu Dongquan, Vice Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee and Mayor of Jiaozhou, also attended the event.

    Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides would identify the common ground, deepen practical cooperation in the fields of industrial connection, production capacity cooperation and industrial transfer through in-depth exploration of unique geographical advantages and industrial advantages, jointly forge the long board of industry and technology, constantly create a sound situation of complementary advantages, misplaced development and win-win cooperation between the two places, and promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

    Liu Jianjun hoped that, on the basis of successful previous cooperation, the two sides could take this signing as an opportunity to focus on the development of common interests, promote cooperation to achieve new results, and make greater contributions to the high-quality integrated development of Jiaodong economic circle and the construction of Shandong Peninsula city cluster.

    At the event, Jiaozhou Municipal People's Government signed a memorandum of cooperation with Gaomi Municipal People's Government and Zhucheng Municipal People's Government on the infrastructure (highway) construction for the integrated development of transportation between Qingdao and Weifang, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the integrated development of modern logistics between Qingdao and Weifang with Gaomi Municipal People's Government. The Administrative Committee of Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Economic Demonstration Zone and Weifang (Gaomi) Airport Economic Development Service Center signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation on high-quality integrated development of Qingdao-Weifang Airport Economic Zone.
