Liu Jianjun Visits Kazakh Ambassador Gabit Koishibayev

  On October 8, Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, visited Gabit Koishibayev, Kazakh Ambassador to China in Beijing. They had talks at the Kazakh Embassy in China.

  During the meeting, Liu Jianjun introduces SCODA and the upcoming SCO Expo to Ambassador Koishibayev. Liu says, Jiaozhou, entrusted with the mission of developing SCODA, is stepping up effort to integrate into the Jiaodong Economic Circle and build an open and modern SCO new area at a higher level. The upcoming SCO Expo and the Qingdao · International Cooperation Hub for SCO Countries will provide Kazakhstan with more opportunities of market expansion, business development, bilateral and multilateral cooperation in China.

  Ambassador Koishibayev says, the SCO Expo has obvious effectiveness in promoting international investment and trade. He will lead a delegation of the embassy and the Chinese representatives of large SOEs to the Expo. He hopes to intensify exchanges with SCODA, and deepen and fully explore the cooperation potential with Shandong, Qingdao and Jiaozhou, so as to elevate bilateral economic and trade cooperation and regional cooperation to a new height.

  Liu says, SCODA and Jiaozhou will do their best to ensure quality services to the Kazakh delegation during the Expo and will also organize a series of official and business meetings for the delegation.

  Mou Jundian, Director of Qingdao Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Zhang Hongye, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the General Office of CPC Jiaozhou Committee, and Xiang Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of SCODA Administrative Committee attended the meeting.
