Exhibition Themed "Joined Hands to Realize the Dream of 2022 Winter Olympics" for the Children, Students and Young Artists from SCO Countries Held

On December 19, 2021, SCO Secretariat organized the exhibition themed "Joined Hands to Realize the Dream of 2022 Winter Olympics" for the children, students and young artists from SCO countries. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai Art Fair, the All-China Women's Federation, the embassies of Russia and Pakistan in China, SCO Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, and the Centre for People-to-People Diplomacy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the event, SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov said that the upcoming Olympic Winter Games and Paralympic Games in Beijing are spectacular international sporting events, so it is of symbolic significance to choose them as the theme of this fair.

The SCO Secretary-General recalled that the SCO Secretariat has been organizing similar exhibitions for 15 years, such as those themed with folk stories, to introduce the cultural diversity of SCO countries to children, encourage their interest in the history of classical and folk art, and strengthen the bridge of friendship and dialogue between generations.
