Qingdao Branch of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology (“Qingdao Branch”) was established in December 2013, with registered capital of 20 million yuan and registered address at South End, Huiying Street, Jiaozhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Qingdao. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. (“CAM”), which is directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It has built Qingdao High-Power Solid Laser Application Engineering Technology Research Center, Qingdao Metal Material Surface Microalloying Expert Workstation, Qingdao Science Education Base,. It has obtained 43 patents, participated in the formulation of two national standards, and led the release of one industry standard.
Qingdao Branch has one R&D building , four testing service and experimental workshops with a gross floor area of about 20,000 m2, which includes an office area of 7,000 m2 and an R&D laboratory area of 13,000 m2. It officially moved in on June 15, 2018, and has been fully put into operation.
Qingdao Branch is mainly engaged in testing and inspection, scientific R&D, and industry service of construction machinery, special machinery, special equipment, and environmental protection machinery; advanced welding technology and welding automation equipment, laser welding technology, welding robot applications, surface coating materials and processes, and thermal cutting process and equipment; and R&D and manufacturing of automation equipment, automated production lines, automated assembly equipment, automated assembly lines, and robots.
CAM adjusted the leadership of the Qingdao Branch on March 11 this year and will arrange stronger staffing and a professional scientific and technological team. It aims to improve the speed of transformation of scientific and technological achievements, fully leverage its advantages in production, education, and research, and realize the driving effect of technology and industry. It will promote the implementation of industrial projects to serveQingdao, and the Shandong Peninsula Urban Agglomeration, and quickly expand the scope and fields of its influence. Qingdao Branch will continue to carry out in-depth scientific research, service, incubation, and industrialization in the fields of high-end material forming and processing as well as intelligent manufacturing equipment. Considering the needs of core technology and equipment in the area, Qingdao Branch will promote the overall intelligent manufacturing solutions such as robot automated production line, intelligent factory construction, intelligent logistics and warehousing, intelligent control system, digital workshop, Internet of Things, and so on. It will gradually realize the industrialization of high-end gear transmission devices in rail transit, construction machinery, and other fields, and accelerate the promotion and application of intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment. It will actively cooperate with local enterprises to integrate scientific research resources, jointly build and share key laboratories, enterprise technology centers, and other scientific research infrastructure, and continue to carry out open activities of science education.
In 2019, the sales revenue was 13.8 million yuan, tax revenue 240,000 yuan, and profit 310,000 yuan; in 2020, the sales revenue is expected to reach 20 million yuan, tax revenue 400,000 yuan, and profit 1.1 million yuan.
