Li Baoshuai and Xiang Zhiqiang Visit Shandong Development and Reform Commission to Discuss the Building of the National Logistics Hub for Commerce, Trade and Service

On November 3, Li Baoshuai, Vice Mayor of Jiaozhou county-level city, and Xiang Zhiqiang, Member of the Party and Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA, visited Shandong Development and Reform Commission, to discuss the building of the national logistics hub for commerce, trade and service. Sun Laibin, Deputy Director of Shandong Development and Reform Commission, held the meeting with the visitors.

During the meeting, Li Baoshuai and Xiang Zhiqiang made introductions respectively, on the overall profile of SCODA, and the building of the national logistics hub for commerce, trade and service. They also made detailed reports on the supportive policies, application for the Eurasian Block Train Assembly Center, and the ideas on the import tariff quota pilot reform for featured agricultural produce from SCO countries.

  Sun Laibin pointed out that, SCODA is the national key task personally announced by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and that Shandong Development and Reform Commission will further deliberate and study the related matters, report to the superior departments and ministry, and promote the work progress.

  Sun Laibin said that, Shandong Development and Reform Commission will aggregate the advantageous resources such as the Eurasian Block Train Assembly Center, so as to push forward the building of SCODA, give full play to its favorable conditions as a logistics hub for commerce, trade and service, and improve the regional logistics. Meanwhile, Shandong Development and Reform Commission will also provide SCODA and Jiaozhou policy support, regarding cultivating new driving forces, improving international logistics, and further opening up.
