Even Mountains and Seas Cannot Separate People with the Same Aspirations! SCODA and Kazakhstan Investment Cooperation Agency Bonded over Common Aspiration

Recently, Aidyn Baiedilov, General Director of Kazakhstan Investment Cooperation Agency, and his delegation visited SCODA to discuss cooperation in investment. Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, had exchanged views with Aiden Bayediyev at the SCO Service Center.

From the end of October to early November, in order to further follow up on the outcomes of the Samarkand Summit, SCODA sent delegations to the SCO countries to carry out a series of promotion activities. The delegations visited Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, held a number of economic and trade exchanges, and signed eight cooperation agreements with foreign parties in cooperation along with Qingdao enterprises.

Li Gang said that the local economic and trade cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has yielded fruitful results and has broad prospects. SCODA looks forward to taking the opportunity of the two interactions to further deepen understanding with the Kazakhstan Investment Cooperation Agency, conduct all-round and in-depth cooperation in various fields such as logistics and warehousing, cross-border e-commerce and people-to-people exchanges to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Kazakhstan's Investment Cooperation Agency has maintained close contact with Qingdao since the two sides established an economic cooperation partnership in 2015. In 2019, Aidyn Baiedilov organized a delegation from the government of Aktau of Kazakhstan to SCODA and attended the SCO Qingdao Forum on Local Economic and Trade Cooperation & SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, and facilitated Qingdao and Aktau to reach consensus on cooperation in many fields and produced fruitful results in economic and trade cooperation.
