On December 18, the first "cross sea" train on the Southern Channel China-Europe Freight Train (Qilu) loaded with goods worth about 12 million yuan including new energy vehicles, solar power modules and daily supplies departed from the Multimodal Transport Center of SCODA, headed for Slovenia's largest port Koper. It is the 19th international train route opened in SCODA. It marks the successful operation of the "cross-sea" route in SCODA, further expanding the international logistics channel to Europe.

The train, operated by Shandong High-speed Group, will exit the border via Khorgos port, pass through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other countries, and cross the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. It is expected to arrive in Koper in 30 days and eventually be distributed by rail to Western European countries. Crossing the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, the train adopts the "rail-sea-rail-sea-rail" multimodal transport mode, extending the radiation range of the China-Europe Freight Train (Qilu) to Central and Western Asia and countries along the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, and opening new space for SCODA to expand international logistics and trade cooperation.
