China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade Officially Unveiled

On January 18, the inaugural meeting of the council of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade and the unveiling ceremony of the institute was held, aiming to build a world-class school of economics and trade with SCO characteristics and international influence, and speed up the training of professional and diversified multilateral economic and trade professionals. Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, put up the plaque of the institute together with Hu Jinyan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qingdao University.

The meeting announced the establishment of the council of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade and approved the name list of the Chairman, Vice-Chairmen, and the members of the council. The meeting deliberated and passed The Charter of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade.

The meeting also deliberated and passed the 2022 development plan and work plan of the institute. In line with the recent development goals, in 2022, the institute will actively promote the construction of the campus, improve the internal governance system, and establish the working mechanism of the institute in personnel training, talent cultivation, think tank construction and scientific and technological cooperation.
