Seminar between SCODA and Kazakh Enterprises Held in Almaty

On September 1, local time, the Seminar between the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and Kazakh Enterprises was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, Lyu Anqi, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty, and Akerkin Eralieva, Acting President of the Almaty Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce, attended and addressed the event. Zhang Dong, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, and Fan Qizhi, Director General of Qingdao Municipal Foreign Affairs Office attended the meeting.

Zhang Xinzhu encouraged all parties to leverage SCODA, an international public and open platform, to enrich cooperation content, expand cooperation space, build a closer SCO community with a shared future, and share new opportunities for high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative.

In her speech, Lyu Anqi hoped that the two sides would take this event as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and comprehensively strengthen practical cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, and logistics.

Akerkin Eralieva said that she hoped to take this event as an opportunity to establish close partnerships with Chinese enterprises and achieve win-win outcomes.

Temerlan Makhatiev, General Manager of the Southern Company of KTZ Express, said that he hoped to enjoy more cooperation opportunities and dividends through the platform of SCODA, and also bring more convenience to the cooperation between enterprises in SCO countries.
