In the morning, Zhang Xinzhu and his delegation visited the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty and met with Consul General Jiang Wei.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the Consulate General could continue to support the development of SCODA, encourage large Kazakh enterprises, financial institutions, and business associations to establish ties with SCODA, and carry out cooperation in multiple fields such as trade, agriculture, logistics, energy, and transportation by leveraging the Qingdao·SCODA Pearl International Expo Center and the SCO Comprehensive Service Platform.

Jiang Wei said that the Consulate General would play the role of a bridge to support and promote relevant institutions and enterprises to establish cooperative relations with SCODA, and promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as business travel and people-to-people exchanges, technology transfer and overseas warehouse construction.

Then Zhang Xinzhu and his delegation visited the Kazakhstan branch of Yema Group and met with Guo Yanqin, Chairman of the company.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that Yema Group would combine its own professional experience, exert international influence, complement each other's advantages, and join hands with SCODA, constantly opening up new businesses and expanding international and domestic markets. He hoped the group could leverage the Qingdao·SCODA Pearl International Expo Center and the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade to plan and implement a number of cultural and tourism activities and projects with SCO distinctive characteristics, and jointly carry out cross-border e-commerce training and other related courses to boost bilateral economic and trade exchanges.
