Zhang Xinzhu Led a Delegation to Visit Bishkek and Attend the Seminar between Enterprises of Kyrgyzstan and SCODA

On September 8, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA led a delegation to visit Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan. During the visit, he attended the seminar between enterprises of Kyrgyzstan and China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area.

Xinzhu and Sanzar Mukambetov, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, attended and addressed the event.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that all participants would strengthen cooperation with SCODA in logistics, cultural tourism, trade and other fields, and join hands to embrace the SCO for a win-win future.

Sanzar Mukambetov said that Kyrgyzstan would take this event as an opportunity to carry out more extensive and in-depth exchanges with SCODA and promote bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, logistics and agriculture under the framework of the SCO and the Belt and Road to benefit the two peoples.

Nuradir Bayasov, Deputy Director General of the Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, said that the Kyrgyz government would have close exchanges and interactions with SCODA and provide comprehensive support for Chinese investors to visit Kyrgyzstan.

In the afternoon, the delegation of SCODA visited the Bishkek Free Economic Zone to meet with Durat Sandibayev, Deputy General Manager of the General Administration of Bishkek Free Economic Zone, and visited Plasform, a Turkish plastic products company.

During the meeting, both sides agreed that SCODA and Bishkek Free Economic Zone have a solid cooperation foundation and broad cooperation space, and will give full play to the advantages of both sides, integrate high-quality resources, and deepen practical cooperation. The Bishkek Free Economic Zone would give full play to its advantages as a transportation hub, participate in the construction of the SCO International Hub Port, build a logistics and trade distribution center, and leverage Qingdao·SCODA Pearl International Expo Center and SCO Comprehensive Service Platform to promote economic and trade exchanges between the two sides and promote the implementation of more cooperation results.
