Zhang Xinzhu Invited to Attend the National Day Celebrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On November 29, the National Day Celebrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in Beijing, attended by representatives of relevant ministries and commissions, diplomatic missions, institutions, local governments, and friends from various sectors in China and Kazakhstan. Invited by Shahrat Nureshev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee, Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Zhang Xinzhu said in his speech that in the future, SCODA will continue to work with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China to further consolidate and expand the friendly and pragmatic cooperation between China and Kazakhstan and share new opportunities for opening up and cooperation.

Since its inauguration, SCODA has actively explored practical cooperation with Kazakhstan in various fields and achieved fruitful results. Taking international logistics as an example, SCODA has opened regular train routes to Almaty, Kustanai, and other cities in Kazakhstan, and established the Almaty Distribution Center of China-Europe Freight Train (Qilu), providing an efficient and convenient logistics channel for economic and trade exchanges between the two countries. In November 2023, the Kazakhstan Embassy in China and the Administrative Committee of SCODA jointly hosted the SCO Countries Cross-Border Transport Potential Promotional Conference. The event is one of the initiatives of the joint program of activities during Kazakhstan's SCO presidency in 2023-2024 to promote the construction and development of international transport corridors between the SCO and the Belt and Road countries by building a high-end dialogue and exchange platform in the field of cross-border logistics and transport under the SCO framework.
