Li Gang Met with Guests from the International Academy of Red Cross & Red Crescent

On July 11, Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, met with Wang Rupeng, former Vice President of the Red Cross Society of China and President of the International Academy of Red Cross & Red Crescent at the SCO Service Center.

Li Gang hoped that the International Academy of Red Cross & Red Crescent will build a platform for international humanitarian cooperation based on the development of the SCODA, give full play to the advantages of channel resources and the role of a new think tank platform, promote the development of humanitarian resources in SCODA, provide intellectual support for international humanitarian cooperation and exchange, and promote people-to-people exchanges.

Wang Rupeng said, the International Academy of Red Cross & Red Crescent will leverage its advantages and channel resources, further strengthen communication with SCODA, deepen cooperation in education and training, academic research and think-tank construction, and promote Belt and Road humanitarian cooperation, thus contributing to creating a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.

Gao Rong, Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of Qingdao Red Cross Society, Liu Baoxi, Member of the Party Committee of Jiaozhou Municipal Government, Hao Guoxin, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area attended the event.
