Li Gang Presided over Thematic Meeting on Promoting Qingdao Ruyi Lake SCO International City Project

On April 24, Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, presided over the Thematic Meeting on Promoting Qingdao Ruyi Lake SCO International City Project at the SCO Service Center.

During the meeting, the officials heard reports on the progress about Ruyi Lake SCO International City Project and made arrangements for future work.

Li Gang pointed out that the construction tasks of Qingdao Ruyi Lake SCO International City should be steadily promoted. It is necessary to establish and improve the working mechanism, clarify the division of responsibilities and working procedures, consolidate the responsibilities, coordinate the preliminary preparatory work such as expert evaluation and land procedures, and ensure that all the work is advanced in a scientific, efficient and orderly way.

Li Gang stressed that the timeline should be well-planned, focus on the key links and time nodes, continue to strengthen the work, push forward the project construction, to ensure that the project is completed on schedule in high quality and quantity. It is necessary to start the investment promotion work simultaneously, explore the development direction and path of Ruyi Lake SCO International City with market-oriented concept, measures and rules, take the market demand as the guidance, actively expand investment channels, innovate investment and financing modes, and effectively improve the development vitality and urban competitiveness of SCODA.
