Officials of Department of Commerce of Shandong Province Inspected SCODA

    On January 9, Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, inspected SCODA. Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, and Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, attended the meeting.

    At the meeting held at the SCO Service Center, Zhang Qingwei said that the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province attaches great importance to the development of SCODA. The Department will shoulder the national key tasks and carry out national strategies, implement the requirements of the meeting of the Leadership Group for the Opening-up of Shandong Province and the Leadership Group of Shandong Province for Promoting the Development of SCODA, and make all-out efforts to support the development of SCODA, thus facilitating SCODA to deliver substantial and pragmatic results, and improve its reputation and recognition.

  Zhang Xinzhu said that SCODA has ushered in a new stage, and will further enhance the communication with the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, integrate the resources across the whole province, and leverage the roles of ministries and national commissions such as the Ministry of Commerce. SCODA will accelerate the development of the "five new cities" internally while highlighting its nature of public goods externally, to yield more fruitful results in SCODA's development.

    Zhao Xianquan, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Qingdao, Zhu Zhiming, Chief Consultant of China International Economic Consulting Corporation, Gao Yan, Deputy Director General of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and officials of SCODA such as Liu Yuyong, Hao Guoxin, Zhou Lin, Fu Zhonghua and Lin Changhua attended the meeting.

    Prior to the meeting, Zhang Qingwei and his delegation also visited Qingdao · SCODA Pearl International Expo Center and Haier COSMOPlat Industrial Internet Ecological Park among other projects.
