On March 25, Hong Kong-Shandong Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting was held at SCODA. Chen Jiaxian said that Hong Kong and Shandong will prioritize science and technology innovation, and develop new quality productive forces in their economic work. Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation establishes partnership with SCODA, aiming to providing maker companies from Hong Kong with abundant scenarios and broad markets to enter the Chinese mainland, and jointly creating an international makers ecology.

New Platform for Shandong-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation

During the event, the Shandong-Hong Kong Technology Cooperation and Innovation Center was officially unveiled, marking its operation as an entity. At the event, SCO Holding Development Group and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly build the Shandong-Hong Kong Technology Cooperation and Innovation Center, promote connectivity between platforms and resource sharing, and facilitate the in-depth integration of industrial and supply chains between the two sides.

"The Shandong-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation and Innovation Center is a vivid practice of SCODA to accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces, and is also a pragmatic measure to promote the cooperation of Shandong-Hong Kong science and technology innovation and the transformation of scientific findings." 14 Projects of New Quality Productive Forces Signed

On the same day, 14 cooperation projects between Shandong and Hong Kong, including the Handle Technology Application Standard Joint Experimental Center and the SCO Cross-border Communication Data Innovation Center, were signed.

"Focusing on the three characteristics of new quality productive forces, including high-tech, high efficiency and high quality, we have gathered three major groups of new technological breakthroughs, new allocation of factors and new industrial transformation, to promote the cooperation between enterprises of the two sides, joining hands to catalyze new quality productive forces." Zhou Lin introduced.

SCODA delivered promotion on the scene. Shandong, Qingdao and SCODA released policies supporting scientific innovation, aiming to expand and strengthen scientific and technological innovation enterprises through complimentary policies.
