The Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference Successfully Concluded

From October 18 to 19, the Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference has been successfully held in Qingdao. Han Zheng, Vice Premier of the State Council attended the opening ceremony online and delivered a video speech. Zhang Jianhua, Director General of the National Energy Administration and Zhou Naixiang, Acting Governor of Shandong Province delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Energy Ministers and high-level representatives from 28 countries, and diplomats from 18 countries to China, as well as heads of nine international organizations attended the conference online or offline. The participants carried out in-depth exchanges on Belt and Road green energy cooperation, reached broad consensus and yielded fruitful results.

The Second Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference was themed on "Join Hands towards a Greener and More Inclusive Energy Future". The participants shared perspectives sufficiently on important topics, including the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation facilitating green and low-carbon energy development, the technological innovation and cooperation accelerating low-carbon energy transformation and development, high-quality connectivity promoting energy trade and investment, and developing green energy to promote the harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature.
