2023 "SCO Summer" Carnival Open

    On July 28, the opening ceremony of 2023 "SCO Summer" Carnival and the theme performance of "Chasing SCO Dreams · Colorful Silk Road" were held at Qingdao · SCODA Pearl International Expo Center.

    Logvinov Grigory, SCO Deputy Secretary General, Gao Anming, Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief of China International Publishing Group, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA, Jiang Yonggang, Director of the Communication Center for Central and Eastern Europe and South-Central Asia of CIPG (China Pictorial), Hu Zhiping, Deputy Director of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Wan Ting, Deputy Director of the Network of International Culturalink Entities, and Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee of and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, attended the event.

The opening ceremony comprises of the prologue "The Sea Embraces All Rivers" and two chapters of "Colorful Silk Road" and "Chasing SCO Dreams".

    Children from various SCO countries and young people in their prime brought the chorus "The Brightest Star in the Night Sky", symbolizing that every member of the SCO family is a bright star, shining in their own field and growing together. The song and dance "Mountain and River Map" is magnificent, highlighting the attitude of the great and beautiful China to welcome visitors from all over the world. Jiaozhou Yangge dance "Embroidered Shoes" with local characteristics shows the unique charm of the Village of Chinese Yangge. The dance series "Join Hands on the Common Journey" expresses the beautiful vision of people of all countries to unite as one and work together. The dance in Chinese fashion "Tang · Joy", the popular street dance "Bright Youth", the large-scale song and dance "We Are All Dream Catchers" and other wonderful programs continued to push the atmosphere to a climax.
